About
the farmily, yep… Dad jokes.
I grew up in the fertile rice producing area of the Arkansas Delta. All my life I loved gardening and building. The name one acre farm was actually strangely inspired by 100 acre wood in Winnie the Pooh and came to me one day in 2009. In 2023, my beautiful wife Beth-Ann and I moved the farm and family onto the current property just as I retired from the military. Since that time we have been working hard to make this little homestead into a working Market Farm. Our property is 3.9 acres on the banks of Little Creek, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. We raise fruits and vegetables in our best attempt at intensive farming on approximately 1/3 of an acre of land.
